“E4C – Educating for Change”, the Presidency Project of the Maltese Development NGO Platform SKOP, was launched this morning at The Palace Hotel Sliema. The project is aimed at putting human rights and social justice on the agenda of Malta’s Presidency of the European Union.
The Conference started with a welcome speech by SKOP Chairperson Mr William Grech, followed by a detailed description of the E4C Project by SKOP Secretary General Roderick Agius and an official speech by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr George Vella.
The conference, which is currently ongoing, will present keynote speeches and expert panels about the rights of children on the move, migration, sustainable development and climate change.
E4C is financed by the European Commission and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (Malta).
